have a great pleasure to invite you to the Youth Forum "International Communication in Scientific and Professional Areas", which will take place within the framework of the National Scientific and Practical Conference “Information Technologies in Science, Industry and Education” on May 26-27, 2021.

Students and Postgraduates of engineering sciences and the humanities are welcomed to participate in the Forum. All accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings (RSCI, ISBN)

The Forum focuses on:

  1. Intelligent information technologies
  2. Information-measuring and information management systems
  3. Digital education technologies

The Forum has the following objectives:

Forms of participation:

DEAR ATTENDEES*: all the video materials submitted will be available on the Forum web-platform in LMS Moodle to hold asynchronous conversations in the form of posted messages between the participants of the Youth Forum. The participants will be able to log in to the online discussion board in May after being provided with a password.

Call for Papers

The papers should be submitted in electronic form in English sustained by the Scientific Supervisor`s review. When the article is co-authored with the Scientific Supervisor, there is no need to send the review. The best papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings (RSCI, ISBN).

When naming the file containing the co-authored article please include the authors’ names, e. g.: Ivanov_Petrov_article.doc

  1. Recommended length of the article: 6 full pages.
  2. Manuscripts should be delivered in Word format. Page size: A5 (14,8 cm x 21 cm). Margins: left – 2,2 cm; top – 1,7 cm; right – 1,8 cm; bottom – 2,3 cm. Paragraph indent: 0,5 cm. Line spacing: single.
  3. Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt for text, 9 pt for tables, picture captions and list of references. Formulas should be formatted in Microsoft Equation 3 or MathType, the font size is to be determined by default, except for the option “normal” whereby you should set 10 pt; Latin characters are italicized.
  4. Alignment of sections in the article (example is attached):
    • authors’ full names: centered alignment, in English, italicized, each name on a new line;
    • department, institute or subdivision: centered alignment;
    • name of organization: centered alignment;
    • one empty line;
    • full article title in bold letters without abbreviations or word hyphenation: centered alignment;
    • one empty line;
    • abstract (a short summary of the paper, no less than two sentences in length): justified alignment;
    • one empty line;
    • key words and phrases (no less than 3): justified alignment, in English;
    • one empty line;
    • main text (the content of the article): justified alignment;
    • one empty line;
    • heading of the reference list: centered alignment (in bold);
    • one empty line;
    • reference list (example attached).
  5. Place pictures between text paragraphs without text wrapping. Picture captions should be placed under the picture using centered alignment within its width. When working with illustrations please use the most common formats.
  6. Place tables with headings (by the example given below) between paragraphs and do not use page breaks.
  7. Formulas and bracketed numbers are to be aligned with the right margin; formulas are to be shifted to the center of the line by pressing the Spacebar.
  8. Pictures with captions placed under them, tables with headings, formulas, and reference list are to be separated from the text with one empty line.
  9. Use italics for text enhancing (e. g., for definitions, terms, logical emphasis).
  10. Articles must contain a list of literature with in-text references made to all sources.
  11. Funding sources (e. g., grants) are to be specified at the end of the text in a separate paragraph before the list of literature.
  12. To follow guidelines for preparing the reference list consult APA (American Psychological Association) https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/18/. A design sample of an English article is provided below.

Rhythmographic Analysis of the Corporate Network Traffic Events of The CISCO MARS System

The article considers network traffic events rate variability. The analysis is based on human heart rate variability analysis. The procedure of parameters calculation and diagram creating of rythmographic analysis is described. The considered method application in network events rate variability analysis software will allow rapid assessment rythmographic character of network events and detect network anomalies.
